Graphics

As a part of my career in Engineering, I have been able to study and implement intuitive and aesthetically pleasing interfaces for products either while at Alcorn McBride, or when I was in the Industrial Design curriculum in Auburn University. 

Industrial Design is the school of thought behind ergonomic, intuitive, and aesthetically pleasing interface and product design. Though originally trained in traditional media like marker rendering, today I create almost all product renderings with graphics tools like CorelDraw and Adobe Photoshop.

Product Renderings

GUI's/Control Panels
Below are a few samples Alcorn has graciously let me show on this site.  These are black-box, rack-mount products with LED's, screw terminals, RCA jacks, buttons, screen prints, etc...  These are fronts and rears of various products.  There is also a software GUI design at the bottom.  If you need a photo-realistic rendering, don't hesitate to contact me.   Below are some sample GUI's (Graphical User Interfaces) Alcorn has again let me show on this site.  They are examples of the integrated interface  your installation can have, if I help you incorporate the theme of your attraction into your kiosks.

Storyboards:
I have extensive traditional drawing experience and training in storytelling (writing flow), in addition to my graphics skills.  Do you have a need for storyboards?  Here are a couple examples of storyboards I have created to help generate video content, though your project may not necessarily be video.  These were given to a video house along with a target audio track and some video or still content files too.

The latest Alcorn McBride Promotional video shipping on several video servers.  We created a branding theme, which are the circles, around Alcorn's "The Sights and Sounds Behind the Scenes" slogan, interspersed with Hi-Def licensed footage on top of an Alcorn audio track.

A 9x16 video for a shopping mall demo.  The target device was a plasma screen turned on its side for digital signage in the mall.  It had advertising footage, and a mall map.
